10/10 a perfect platforming puzzle game
This is purely a platforming puzzle game as in you have to figure out the right paths and correct order of actions to solve each puzzle area. The puzzles gradually become harder as you progress and new mechanics are introduced throughout the game
By the end you are using all the mechanics used throughout the game added on with an amazing twist I was not expecting that I won't spoil for you
Overall it took me about 6 hours to finish this with my daughter. I think if I was doing it alone it probably would have taken me 4 hours to complete. There are no hidden collectibles to find and most puzzles seem to have just one solution though I may have inadvertently cheesed some of the puzzles with unintended solutions
The puzzles themselves are a very innovative approach to platforming puzzles with some mechanics I've not seen before in platforming puzzle games. Some were quite easy while others were quite the brain teaser, obviously it will depend from person to person how challenging you will find this game and how good you are with out of the box thinking
What really sets this game apart from other puzzle games is that not only does it have such a great art style but the graphics are very high quality and the animation and movement is very smooth
If you prefer puzzle games with actual puzzles like The Room or Machinarium then this is not a game for you. But if you enjoy platforming puzzle games like Portal, Braid, etc then this will be right up your alley
I will say the platforming doesn't require a great deal of mechanic skills or reaction speed but fortunately for the most part the game makes it so you don't need to do stuff fast
One thing the game doesn't actually explain is that when you change the connections between the puzzle pieces if you just hold it before moving it or removing it, it will flash everything that will be reset without resetting it. As long as you hold the connection it won't reset on you so you don't need to feel pressured to move the connection quickly
Overall a very fun and enjoyable 4 to 8 hour experience depending on your speed at solving the puzzles. Very enjoyable, very unique and very creative game
