The Jackbox Survey Scramble Review (SilokHawk)
If the concept sounds interesting to you, it is; This game is definitely worth a buy.
The Survey Scramble is a collection of (at the time of writing this) 4 modes all centered around various surveys. Taking surveys and trying to adapt them into various games is an extremely restrictive foundation to work off of; But in classic Jackbox fashion, they get so creative with the concept that the limitations of its genre aren't even felt.
From the modes you'd expect like Hilo that just has you guessing the highest and lowest answers, to tic-tac-toe, or even pong; The variety at launch is already looking strong.
One of the coolest features is that all the data for these surveys are built off the answers you, or anyone else throws at it; Making for a game that will (theoretically) always be up to date.
10 player support, it's all quickly paced, every mode (sans the pong mode) is easily streamable over Discord, and the promise of more content in the upcoming months. If you don’t mind a more focused experience opposed to the typical comedic one, then this might be Jackbox’s most justified price tag in years.
