The First Berserker: Khazan has a really standard plot, really bad side quests that just use the main areas, with some minor details being different, and use reskin main bosses. Main quests have good level designs that make exploration fun.
Where this game truly shines is the combat.
The combat is just simply amazing. Khazan has so many different moves and skills you can use and none of them feel useless, and the best part is every enemy in the game is designed around these moves and skills.
The bosses are so amazingly designed with Khazan moves in mind that when you figure out what to do, the game basically turns into devil may cry the souls like.
Speaking of bosses, they are amazing too, especially the last two bosses are really good.
The game also heavily incentivizes you to keep changing weapons and try out new skills since you can always take back a point you have spent, and some armor sets in the game give you special skills that you can only get while wearing that set.
Overall, Khazan is an amazing Action game with beautiful main quests and bosses. Even though side contents in the game are really boring with really nothing much to offer, the combat is so freaking good that you just forget about it.
Definitely recommend.
