The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication Review (Thumper Bones)
Unholy crap... how?? When you play the first "Bridge Curse"... don't hold that in mind when you play this release. "The Bridge Curse 2: Extrication" leaves "The Bridge Curse" in it's past with a swiftness. This game is amazing. The sense of dread built throughout the entire game is leaps and bounds above the levels of dread you felt in the previous installment. This game does so many things right... and I'm really hard pressed to find anything "negative" to say about it at all. The most annoying thing about the game is the voice actor for A-Hi doesn't pause during her dialog like she should... and that's the only thing about this game that really bothered me other than when it ended. Not because the ending is bad... but because I didn't want it to be over. As it stands right now... "The Bridge Curse 2: Extrication" is my GOTY (I am a strictly horror game based streamer so don't comment with some out of category game that doesn't apply to me). Softstar Entertainment did an AMAZING job with this game... and I cannot wait to see what other future installments they have for the horror genre. Comparatively... to put things into "perspective"... it seems like in the indie game scene... Softstar are following the same path as "Team Silent" did. The first game was pretty good... but then the second game REALLY made you go WTF more than once in the most positive ways imaginable. I can't say enough good stuff about my time with this game... but... I'll just leave it with this.... Softstar Entertainment has acquired a new fan for life.
