The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication Review (Cin 青金石)
Phenomenal game.
To start off,
The English voice over was fantastic. Maybe in one scene it felt slightly monotone but it did not take away from the amazing job that was done at bringing majority of the characters to life and giving them a unique and memorable personalities.
Although the game has some comedic aspect it did not stray away from the horror atmosphere which it sets. With much more darker psychological themes to bring you back to its true genre.
There was some minor delay in speaking animation but that is if you truly wanting to nitpick every detail.
What really won me over was the fantastic job the developers did at adding small details during transitions to give you the feeling that you are truly in a horror-like environment fighting for your life. Even some twists occurring during the more intense scenes that made me go like "Wow I truly did not expect that"
Artwork and animations were beyond beautiful as well as fluid and smooth. There were few times where I purposely died simply due to wanting to get closer to the creatures chasing me just to admire the details.
Each chapter captivated me in its own way that my only wish was for the game to be much much longer. Adding to the overall plot and linking it together for not only the finale but to larger world building of the "The Bridge Curse" universe.
Even some posters had secrets added to them to give that realistic immersion to the game making it feel alive.
The puzzles were fairly straightforward and almost did not need outside sources as a help.
Overall really well balanced game.
If you like finer details and artwork or just looking to admire environment I would recommend checking the game out.
