The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth Review (Zeus The Goose)

Afterbirth Plus is one of, if not the msot disappointing DLCs I have experienced in my life. We were promised so much, but it ended up adding jack-all to the wonderful game that is The Binding of Isaac Rebirth.
Well, first, what does this DLC add? A harder version of Greed Mode? Sounds interesting. I don't care though, because Greed Mode is still ass, and Greedier doesn't change a damn thing. Hell, it makes it worse because you only have a couple coins to buy anything.
A new floor and boss? Cool! And it's just rehashed floors and bosses with a static on it. The Void is just the other floors, like I said, with meaningless changes. And Delirium himself, the big final boss? It's just all of the bosses you fought with a million bullets everywhere. How lazy. Worse yet, while The Void’s music rips ass, Deliriums makes me want to Ending 3 myself. It's a laughably bad track.
Modding support? Fantastic… prior to Repentance because mods aren't backwards compatible. That makes sense (to an extent), but mods for Repentance crash this version without warning. And many mod makers didn't make separate builds for each version of the game, making this addition entirely worthless.
2 new characters? Cool! This is really the only good thing I can say about this DLC. Both characters are fun in their own right, The Forgotten especially.
100 new items? Cool, but you need more than items to make a good Isaac DLC. If this DLC was a free update to Afterbirth, it'd be hard to complain here. But instead, you get a $9 rip-off with less content than Afterbirth. Overall, just skip to Repentance.
