Terra Nil Review (Thrillbo)

Visually delightful tessellation based puzzle game with solar punk aesthetic. Really need more games to go for this genre, good soul food.
Latest update has been a major overhaul, that has added more content but frustrated the game to the point of disappointment.
One major complaint I have is that the game now chugs, on my high end spec gaming PC, this games chug, both the pathing of the little boat, the mono rails and all the animals, feels like a memory leak, it really chugs and needs fixing.

It has somehow both complicated the animals in a very frustrating manner. They spawn without control in inappropriate conditions then trap you in a game phase until you chase them across the map with a ping tool.
The update has also revamped the games levels, whilst there are technically more maps, it now uses most of the mechanics less feeling more underutilised than ever. we have so many slight variations of the same puzzles, none of them have been balanced well enough to be satisfying.
Some maps have the balance completely broken, buildings that are supposed to be bought and placed down once and then relocated are so cheap they can be spammed.
fix the performance, and pick whether the game is about making beautiful landscapes (make it easier and double the map size greater land height variation, give us control of that too) OR a difficult puzzle game (make the buildings much more expensive and the level very failable, let us introduce animals manually as a 4th puzzle phase) as it is, it currently fails at both.
