Tentacular Review (IDK31)
Loved it! Pretty good VR game. They do a lot of things right that make it a good VR experience. It should serve as an example to other VR devs. Every menu is a physical object and it all feels very polished and fluid. Plus it's just a lot of fun. There's a sandbox mode to let you smash, build and play to your heart's content. Good stress relief. It's very gratifying to chuck a character that's annoying you. I got 14 hours out of the game in my first run and I have plenty of reason's to go back. I do tend to "stop and smell the roses" to get my money's worth. I did all the sidequests in my first go. It just might be a little cutesy for some and the graphics cartoony, but I like that kind of thing. Not to ruin it but the ending is actually pretty epic and "spectacular." Got a bit teary-eyed it was so beautiful.
Bit of a warning: this is a physics-based game and it can be frustrating at times because it can go wonky. The most difficult parts are side missions that you can skip. So, you can get through the story part of it without too much difficulty. I did spend over an hour on one particular mission because the physics kept going haywire.
