Teardown: The Greenwash Gambit Review (Dukkiegamer)
Out of all the DLC's this one is probably the best in my opinion. It's one of the few that has actually somewhat hard missions, though there few.
THE STORY
Story was never the strong point of this game and this doesn't change with this DLC. It's okay, good for what this game offers.
MECHANICS
I really love the anti gravity crystals. Opens up really cool new ways to build out shortcuts for timed missions. There are a few missions without any gravity at all. They're kinda boring because there are no timed missions in that area. What's cool is that when you fire a weapon you actually fly back from the kickback of the weapon. There's also radiation out side the space station which would be cool if there were any timed missions. That'd make it actually a challenge since you gotta navigate around the level instead of flying from A to B as the crow flies.
WEAPONS
There are a few new guns. One is basically a pistol that recharges it's ammo. One is a longer range shotgun. The last one is actually new and unique. The foam gun. It allows you to shoot foam which will attach itself to anything you shoot it at, even itself. So you can make crazy good shortcuts.
MISSIONS
I personally like my missions fairly difficult. That usually means timed missions. There are few of them here. The ones that are here are certainly a lot harder that the previous DLC's (which were wayyy too easy), but they're still fairly easy to get all objectives. The last mission is especially easy and boring. I'm sorry devs. If you're reading this, I can see what y'all were going for but it just doesn't hit. It was not the epic action scene you hoped it to be. It wasn't hard, it wasn't engaging and the story certainly wasn't good enough to carry it.
VEHICLES
No real new unique vehicles. It's reskins or similar vehicles with no special features.
SUMMARY
Compared to other DLC's it's good. Compared to the base game it's meh to ok. It had a lot of potential if there were just like 50% more timed missions that were actually hard. All the DLC are basically pretty physics sandboxes and not physics puzzle games like the base game.
