Team Fortress Classic Review (urga)
kinda hard to recommend in its current state. i LOVE older games, and i LOOOVE tf2, so i was expecting to enjoy this. it has a bit of a learning curve if you're coming from tf2 as some things and classes operate differently, so it takes a bit of getting used to.
the 50 or so people who still occupy this game are pretty vile, and i have witnessed some of the most pathetic admin abuse i've ever seen in my life in some of these servers. like one admin banned some dude from the most popular 2fort server because he wouldnt call her "your royalty" or "your heinous" or some shit. im not even lying. basically took away TFC from that guy with that ban, theres like 2 servers, and only 1 is regularly populated.
if you enjoy the same social atmosphere as a middle school, except occupied by a bunch of 30-40 year olds, hey, have i got a game for you. if you don't want that, how about you just play the free, and significantly better sequel?
sorry TFC, i want to love you but good god does your community eat a lot of lead.
