Tanuki Sunset Review (Hyper)
I played the shit outta the demo, and the full version’s just more of the same. The later levels get a bit long, which can make grinding those last few milestones quite tiresome, especially when crabs are thrown into the mix. Fuck those crabs, man.
I’m also a little disappointed by the music selection (Both in terms of genre and quantity), but the option to disable the in-game music and play your own is always there. If anyone’s interested, I’ve created a short Spotify playlist specifically for this game; https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1wevt3HcR9WGLfwe1kZuYx?si=11ea844f1f684f99
Aside from that, the only real issue I have is with the achievements. Many of them are broken, and with no word from the devs in about two years, it doesn’t seem like that’s gonna change anytime soon. I also don’t plan on spending a hundred hours grinding just to unlock a hat. Sorry.
Anyway, pretty fun game, but the price is a bit steep for the amount of content you actually get.
