18 hours in with this shit ahhh graphics game and by god, it will be one of the most addicting games for me this current years. Its like a much darker mood of Skyrim. Maybe I am stupid, but the atmosphere and colors somehow reminds me of Amnesia. I began as a bow user and even the animations and hit effects are from pre 2020s, one shotting anything is so satisfying. I dont know how to describe it, its like, I am seeing a long lost friend. This game reminds me of older RPGs where role playing, making choices and story had much more impact on the game with shit ton of freedom. I trashed the graphics but, even if a mordern graphic loving, DLSS sucking, Ray Tracing fan boy like me didnt give a damn about how the game looks (dont worry its still pretty solid) you wont give either. I've yet began Act 2 and there is so much more to do. Switched to one hand rogue, as enemies are tougher, bow acted like my pee trying to penetrate a thick leave.
Definitely give it a try. Turn people into cheese, get f*cked by the fore-dweller spirit summoned by the wyrdness, talk with Arthur in his necro -king like armor. Btw, If you are a souls fan, you may recognize some identical choices between Gwyn and Arthur.
