Super Arcade Football Review (sweetpea)
Where do I start? It is a fun game in small doses. It's got a Sensi Soccer thing going on where you only use one button and you can bend the ball after kicking it. There's a story mode which feels very tacked on, but I am working my way through it. You are not allowed to lose any match in the story mode, if you do, you need to replay it. The goalies can let a ball from the other half of the pitch slink in, and they can sometimes do impossible monster saves. There is no logic when it comes to the ref, and I seriously think that it's a randomized event whether or not there is a foul or a card given. So you can be given a card when you do the most perfect tackle, and you can be given nothing when almost killing someone with a tackle. What else... oh, there are indoor matches which skips throw-ins and corners, and sometimes you'll even play matches on ice. That's about it. It's fun in small doses, despite all it's flaws, but don't go in expecting anything other that a match or two before moving on to something else.
