Summum Aeterna Review (yac)

Nice game ruined by bad performance.
I measured it and it doesn't ever reach stable 120 FPS with frame drops and fluctuations that I can feel and which make precision movement inconsistent and unpleasant.
While I know my system can run most games on stable 120 FPS @ 1440p, I measured similar games to be fair:
* Dead Cells: stable 120 FPS
* Rogue Legacy 2: stable 120 FPS
* Spelunky 2: stable 120 FPS
None of these game ever stuttered in a way I noticed even though I usually have vsync on. They also don't need full GPU power so fans don't spin while playing.
Summum Aeterna is unable to keep 120 FPS while utilizing full power of 2070 Super. Unacceptable.
I'm refunding this with little hopes the performance gets fixed as the game was in EA for quite some time.
Sadge :(

EDIT: RE: dev response:
I have explicitly stated that I like the game. I liked it so much I did an extra work of actually measuring the continuous FPS using graphs and providing specific performance information of 4 similar products which is a further proof of my interest.
Instead of simply explaining that you didn‘t update your game in several months (?!) and assuring that you indeed improved the terrible performance in final version (which rarely happens), you went an extra mile of implying I‘m not being honest and damaging your reputation on purpose...
Is there any reason for your serious accusation?! I have 1500+ games in my Steam account which I bought and didn‘t refund because they worked including hundreds of Early Access titles. Your game didn‘t work as I explained in detail. Instead of appreciating my informative feedback, you dare to harass me with lectures on honesty and „expect“ me to re-buy a previously broken product...
I‘m used to toxic Steam users, but getting harassed by a dev I actively tried to help is certainly a new experience!
May I suggest you fix your bad performance instead of harassing customers for accurate reviews?
