Storyteller Review (Igorious)
(Обзор на русском тут: > тыц <)Cool but short puzzle about building scenes for stories.• Use heroes and decorations to create motives and fulfil goal for each level.+ Humor; interesting interpretations of some book plots.+ Memorable heroes, many of them have unique character. Where Lenora gets sad, Isabelle will start thinking up a plan for revenge.+ Fun Santa-Barbara: The King will fall in love with any girl, the Knight loves the Queen, the Baron loves the crown, and the Queen loves herself.+ Beautiful art, animations, nice music and sounds.+ Some stories can be solved in different ways.+ Several stories (11) there are additional conditions.+ Finally, there are special scenes (10) for achievements.= 10 of 51 are 3-frame tutorials. Most of the stories have 5..6 frames. And only 4 stories at the end use the full game potential of 8 frames.= The game is objectively very short: 1.5 hours for in-game content + 0.5 hours for achievements.= It's hard a little to distinguish gnomes.– There is a lack of content: some heroes and decorations are used only a couple of times. And the story «Temptation of Adam» from the demo was cut out.– Many of the stories are too straightforward. I had to think only near the end — and that was really interesting, but I want more!– No sandbox — meme potential is not realized :(– Pages with levels flip very slowly — you'll get tired of looking for the right story for achievements. The game is good, but there are a bunch of very strange decisions from the author. The jester's hat from the demo was cut out: as statistics show, more than half of the players did not see the funny scenes — and it's 1/3 of the gaming time. And we see a hint for the sequel in the credits — it feels very smugly.
