Sticky Business: Camp Zinnias Review (Chlamydian)
Unlike the previous DLC, the stickers for this one are pretty alright. Personally, however, I only returned for the stories (as I have done enough sticker crafting over the course of 8 hours), and they are horrendously written this time. If this is also the only thing you come for, you'll be out in 40 minutes at most, and most of that comes from the fact characters want you to constantly remake stickers. (Another one with a guitar, please!)
I am all for inclusivity, and I think the inclusion of such stickers is great, but the way these (few) characters are written was just a bit tedious. "I'm scared to talk to X, maybe an Asexual pride sticker will be a good conversation starter". I cannot fully remember (it's been a while) but maybe the writing has just always been poor, but was saved by the newness of the gameplay. At some points it even made me uncomfortable, like I was intruding on something. These characters tell you EVERYTHING about their personal lifes, without you ever sending something verbal back. It's so parasocial relationship-coded.
