As it stands, this game feels a more like a proof-of-concept with its brief levels and sparse mechanics.
The difficulty that others have mentioned is mostly due to the games simple design logic where you'll occasionally run into an area with infinitely spawning enemies that sometimes take cheap shots. The answer to most scenarios is to just rush to the exit - exploring gets you killed and really isn't worth it since there are no secrets.
Boss fights are only tricky until you've figured out their patterns, but the controls aren't the best either.
I found it better doing a custom map for the slide onto the trigger buttons. The slide is used just as often as the grapple and really should have a dedicated button with how often the game expects you to use it to avoid damage.
If the Developers have a sequel planned than I would probably be interested if they can build more into this game.
