Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Review (evenstar74)
Bug fixes:
Yes this game has a bunch of bugs but I managed to play through it and had a blast :)
1) During bossfights, re-map your 'attack' key (default is left mouse button). It will not work during final QTE's. You will also need to re-map the Lightning key (default Q) for the final fight.
2) The cinematic in the elevator prior to the final level will loop. Just wait. It will eventually stop.
Review:
Tragically short compared to the first game, TFU s nonetheless a great game. You get to fight with two lightsabers, have Force powers and combos right out of the gate - and they are easier to remember too. No more click
QTE's are less prominent, though there are still a few annoying ones. But the finishers were very rewarding.
Once again I found Starkiller to be a sympathetic, endearing character. His voice actor and the cinematics which render every facial emotion in stunning detail, made me truly feel sympathy for this young man who is trying to find his place in the universe and stay true to his heart.
Though short, it was nice to have a resolution to Starkiller's story. The first game's LS ending was fitting but also a little disappointing. The end to 2 makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside, and it's worth playing just for that. Sadly TFU3 never happened so there are a few inconsistencies with canon, just ignore them, and enjoy the game for what it is.
Hack and slash your way with glorious Force abilities! It's fun ^-^
