Stacklands 2000 Review (Zenimus Tail)
While a good idea, and overall a nice dlc. It is just lacking a lot of polish.
From tutorials not playing, which are needed to even know entire knew tabs exist, to things disappearing or breaking.
but even without the bugs. The fact most things don;t tell you everything that a building does is crazy. like apartments generate poo when not hooked up. which would be fine if it didn't give you negative 2 for every poo with no way to avoid it. so you build 3 apartments before getting sewage which is honestly easy. and you could ko yourself within two days.
this is one of many many cards that don't list all of their outputs. most things that make pollution don't say it. which requires other buildings to process.
Add on you cant stack power gens. so your stuck with conga lines of cards that should be stack-able. which would not matter, but the wire systems suck at long ranges for detecting when you want to grab the card vs the wire circle. so the longer you need to bring something the worse it feels to do.
There are no counters telling the player their overall resources. so the only way to know how much power you need, and how much you are making is to manually count it. same with sewage, and pollution. forcing you to constantly keep track of ever more complex pipe lines just to know your base resource counts.
overall. i love the idea of this dlc. but the execution feels rushed. hopefully they update stuff and improve it.
