Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion: HD Renovation Review (WEEGEE)
Absolutely amazing cutsey horror game that almost acts as a celebration of the horror genre itself. While the gameplay is nothing that will stick with you, the fun spooks and ride itself definitely will. 8/10

• Cute and very nice-looking pixelated artstyle with hand-drawn sprites throughout
• Surprisingly good story
• Most monsters are super cool, unique, fun to read into, and fun to get chased by
• A lot of content, secrets, endings, and settings
• Great soundtrack, the horror tracks are very effective
• GAME IS ACTUALLY VERY SPOOKY :D
• The references to other horror media, while usually obvious, doesn't feel unoriginal and doesn't take away from anything here
• Amazing sound design
• Game has a fun and quirky sense of humor that it rarely drops
Bogus
• Some of the sprites looked scarier/better than the 3D models here
• The game is a corridor-walking simulator with chases throughout, so it can be boring when there's not something chasing you
• Endless mode can be unfair at times
• Some mechanics aren't explained to the player very well
• Combat seems like an afterthought, but it is still fun
