SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game Review (The Undead Deceit)
This game (The Patrick Star game) is basically GOAT Simulator, only difference is you're Patrick. You also have very similar abilities, but again, Pat-ified. Additionally, the game can be endless fun if you have the right mindset. If you are buying this game as an adult and just think "oh yeah! Spongebob game, but Patrick" you'll be fine. It's these adults that assume because Spongebob & Patrick have been around for ~25+ years it might be more like a childhood memory game. Get your rose-tinted glasses off guys. The game is Patrick and you're a sleepy, lazy, burping sea star.
The game still does need polishing up. I haven't made much progress, but I fear some achievements might be stuck behind a second play-through if you failed to get it during the corresponding event. Time will tell. Overall, if you need some mind numbing gaming time this game isn't half bad. You can easily get your $40 worth if you understand its Goat Sim but with Patrick and their little under-sea nuke test site Bikini Bottom. Otherwise... well, I'll just assume you guys put out meme reviews because hehe. It's Patrick guys.
As i have made more progress (org. review at 2hrs), at 9 I can say the game is pretty fun. If it can expand a bit, it has huge potential. Maybe a bit more dialogue would be my main ask. Also maybe extra save slots? Otherwise, i can easily give this game a 8/10 for all that matters/counts. It's a Patrick game people... don't hate on it because you're a grown hairy adult playing a kids game.
Anyway, back to gaming. I wonder if I can order pizza on this thing?
