Solasta: Crown of the Magister - Lost Valley Review (空.明)
I am mixed about this one.... a few things:
1. lack of the kind of party members squabbling cutscenes that make crown so memorable.
2. overall feels like I am playing a turn based Witcher game due to the setting. In fact, I am playing party which includes Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri and Jaskier... what a coincidence! (Party died to badland bears tho...) To me, the switch from dnd style cut the monster and save the world setting to a political infighting setting is a bit too much...
3. Lead into the story was kinda weak...
What i liked about this tho:
1. much bigger areas and feel a little bit more open world exploration in certain areas.
2. many more encounters in each area
Overall, it is a different experience from crown... maybe a bit too much....
