Sniper Elite: Resistance - Target Führer: Lights, Camera, Achtung Review (Thomasthetankengine)
Another great chapter in the Rebellion Franchise. However it is getting a little predicable and tired. The settings are fantastic through the back drop of French villages, and war effected rubble houses, new Character Harry Hawker has a to live up to after Karl Fairburne. I see this game needs to bring back more mines like in chapter 4. The video bullet death capture never gets old however it shouldn't end with a musical thud maybe a gorier death would be better the final scene of the video kill is like the end of a Warner Brother bugs bunny or pork pig with a round circle closing in on the body part I'm just waiting for poky pig to pop up ad say " yibid, yibida That's all folks" I found a major issue with crashing every 2 minutes and after contacting rebellion (Whom never contacted me back) I had to pay a tech support person to investigate. Although the game is supposed to work with slightly older graphics cards it doesn't. I had to reduce everything to 1366 x 768 ( old style HD) on a 4 K monitor looks terrible. If rebellion are going to serve this up again I wont be purchasing it again. I was hoping for bigger things for this franchise. Each game should get better however the guns are authentic, yes, but there were many more types used and I think Rebellion are too comfortable in not wanting to change with pit loosing their fans. Someone at rebellion please take note: More variety, of characters, more variety of weapons, and add more mystery like tunnels, a few clues to solve, perhaps he can drive a car, ( he does use a boat) maybe give him some scuba gear, A disguise, make the game play more interesting. However Keep the wonderful detailed back drops. Also We are tired of crouts how about Japanese, Turks, russian's It's always crouts! I love the game but if the next one doesn't change I'm out
