Smile For Me Review (Violet Vixanne)
I saw the trailer for their next game Great God Grove and was like, wow that looks amazing. What else has this company done? So i popped over to Steam, wishlisted G3 and put Smile For Me in my cart cause it was on sale. I, like a donut, totally forgot to actually order it and when I got back to it...it was full price. But the art and the trailer I saw made me go, nah dude...it's worth the full price. And you know what? I was right!
This game is so unique in the art, the narrative, and the characters. The puzzles were challenging without being off putting and though it's an incredibly short game (all told about 4 hours *don't let my steam time fool you I'm the queen of pausing and walking off*) but quite possibly the best 6 hours I have spent in some time. It was a joy to play the game again to 100% it and I will be telling all of my friends about this title.
I am even more stoked about not only Great God Grove but also any of titles this team comes up with. And if you also liked this game, won't you be a dear and just...smile for me?
