Skullgirls Review (Koharu)
Umbrella is probably my actual main of all the DLC characters. I don't think I can make a team without including her just because of the fact that I enjoy her kit so much.
She does have a learning curve, as her resource management is similar to Black Dahlia in that you need to keep it in mind, but even without keeping it in mind, Umbrella can be really strong.
Umbrella is also just cute and silly in general. Her animations have a lot of charm, like the throwing a cartoony tantrum on the ground, massive tears included. Or the ice cream after a victory.
Hungern is also just really damn cool. Eldritch umbrella horror sapping the energy of a child and making her look younger is a very unique take on the trope!
I think her story was pretty good, though I wouldn't treat it as the canon ending, unlike Marie's.
Wonderful character, she is.
