SimCity 4 Review (Sancho Nauticus)
When I think of SimCity, I think back to the time with Benjamin showing me the first part of SimCity. I just loved SimCity and took turns playing with Benjamin on a city that grew and grew. Unfortunately we both had problems with unemployment in the city and so Benjamin decided to build a neighborhood with four dozen police stations. To give the citizens all a job. So anyone who became unemployed in our city was immediately given a police badge and put in a patrol car. That was how Benjamin had solved unemployment.
SimCity 4 was the last great SimCity. It was a real step up from its predecessors because the city had a main map that was divided into smaller distinct quarters. This is how districts, suburbs and villages came into being, all of which were interconnected. So it was the first part of SimCity, connected to a city complex with many districts.
Innovations in this part are the automatic building functions, with which one no longer has to worry about sewers and power lines. The mayor´s advisors are also beautifully presented and give advice. Of course, the graphics have also been polished.
If you want, you can let your own Sim citizen move into a house and watch him as he lives in the city. It´s a bit like a built-in function to make SimCity 4 to the game "The Sims - light"
Ultimately, SimCity 4 is the best SimCity ever made and a true classic.
