Silent Hope Review (alla)
To be fair, Silent Hope is not bad. Only problem is the price $$ is high, (vs the game content). I bought it with 70% off at 16.46 CAD$ and I feel just a good amt for the game content. Yeah, recommend it with discount.
Now for my actual review.
The Good:
- have keybind, that's good
- smooth fluid battle, atks, skills and roll(evade) responds nicely
- isometric 3d with map (and mini map), sweet not making me dizzy
- got what you are looking for an RPG --> lvl up, skillup, drops, farm mats, craft. etc
- also have class 2 progression, (3 in total) for ea character, but with limitted skills.. 3 skills per class which you can combine.. for example, can select 1 skill on each class total 3.. lets say i select 1 AoE from 3 diff classes, i will have 3 AoE skills set for PVE clearing (can reset any time, with no cost) ^_^ .. if im facing a floor 10 boss, i can set to 3 diff hard hitting skills for boss kill.
The (not so) BAD:
- simple story, with no cinematic or animation
- simple game mechanics, not very indepth, seems devs don't even make much effort
- warm sound, nothing special.. not that bad really
- not so detailed info on game items/gear/etc
- again, is not so bad... I mean I can buy other good games out there for under $10.. why would I buy this.. well, i'm a succer for cartoonish gimli like character design, why i probably bought the game lol
Anyways, overall, game is good and I recommend it (for discounted price). Cheers!
NOTE: interesting, as I progress more and trying different classes, I am surprised to see more things to do. For example, my fave is knight with sword and shield most time.. then tested bow and seems more fun (or easier) ... testing other characters is making it more "re-playable" ^_^
