Silent Hill Review (rozjuszony)
there's the classic silent hill stuff at the heart of the subject. the chasing after someone we love. i'll admit it has a few flaws. like constantly closing when you alt tab. i had to play some parts 4-5 times, but you can solve most things with one button. besides that, the team that developed the game is the americans, not the japanese. even though the places and people that silent hill series is about belong to america, all these have been told to the player through the filter of people who have been fed with japanese culture until today. now this american game company cannot dare to make this game for the pleasure. of course these producers are people who have devoured the whole series, they sat down and put their heads together. too many bad comments but i liked it. it's enough that it's silent hill and it's part of it for me.
silent hill means loneliness, trying to survive, fog, very rarely encountered people and none of them are solid shoes. it's the horror of facing your deepest, darkest fears, traumas and afflictions in a metaphysical and terrifying form. your biggest internal problems coming to literally terrorize and harm you. that's what this game made me feel, so that's enough again.
i love nurses i have to cosplay them one day. and the pyramid head here. i don't know what he's doing here! we're not supposed to see him except silent hill 2. he's a judge that only james can see and he symbolises his own sins in james' story. bosses are great thanks to use of christian imagery and connections.
AHHHHH AKIRA YAMAOKA, I LOVE YOU.
