Sifting Thyme Review (Miss Zi Bunney)
Now I know why I had to read this VN... IT'S SO GOOD! It makes you feel REALLY GOOD too. With warm/cozy vibes that is. It makes you laugh... It makes your heart leap in joy and it makes you have emotions that may not frequent you on a daily basis.
Although you play as a student in a Culinary Academy and get to hear about words and foods that I had to look up... It also makes sure to include friendships, dreams, fears and much more. There is romance, but in the beginning it's on a low level until you get on a character's route. And then... Then you float on a cloud through it, ascending even further into the skies once you sample an epilogue... Or two... Or all of them. (I am referring to "BEST ENDINGS". There is also "Neutral" and there are no Bad Ends. Hah! GOOD.)
Guys. Alright! I thought Jamie was going to be the best one. Just look at him. Black hair... Kind... And then I saw Tyler and found out what he was to the MC and then I saw everything in a new light. I saved Tyler for last. (Does anyone else think he looks like a tiger and there are glimpses of him acting like one...? :D)
I liked all the characters. None of them were jealous beeps towards one another either. They were rather understanding... Even though there may have been a moment or two where a character may have been a tad bit upset and said "how did you get with her?" (And yes, you can play as a male too if you'd like). They still didn't kill one another till this day. Although I still think that Tyler had a shotgun in his office and was ready to use it to assert his authority. He had that look about him.
Jamie was the cute fluffy sheep you want to cuddle. Geoffrey had his own charm. Leo... Leo was unexpectedly damn good in his route. It went from barely seeing him to woo! Dominating and more awesome lines! But the best lines go to Tyler. And looks and yeah, okay you get it. He also has the sexiest CGs to boot. (One of which I will secretly display when no one notices. Mhm.)
I may not have learned much about any of this fancy cooking stuff or was even able to physically transport myself into the game for a bit to see what it was really like, but...! It's emotions will be imprinted on me for a long time.
Thank you... Oh so very much. :D :) <3
(And yes, although this game may not have bullying. School with no bullying, what? Yeah. It's awesome. I meant continuous bullying that is... This game still has drama. Some. So cozy vibes all the way baby!!!)
