Ship of Fools Review (MysteryMonkey49)
Could almost recommend this, but feel a little more negative than positive about it. Maybe if it was 15€ I would have given a thumbs up.
It's fun for a while but there is basically no replay value. There is "brightness" similar to Hades' "heat" system but it's not half as interesting. We believe the idle canons are the best and once you've maxed them there is basically not more to unlock. The runs get really repetitive too and are decided by the trinkets/artifacts you get. Some of them are just far too strong while others are basically useless. It's nice at first but a let down after a few hours. It also likes to crash, after which your run is ~GONE~ (happened like 3-4 times in the < 15 hours we played).
Again, the first few hour were pretty cool though. For us it was a lot more fun than e.g. "We Need to Go Deeper" but personally I liked "Love In a Dangerous Space Time" more and would recommend that one instead, if you haven't played it yet.
