Ship Graveyard Simulator 2: Steel Giants Review (Munty)

LONGER!
HARDER!
WETTER!
These are COLOSSAL SHIPS!
After a great many hours I am still yet to wrap up work on the last of these four massive new ships. That right there tells you everything you need to know about the Steel Giants DLC... These new ships are truly colossal and will require a great many hours of your life to complete. Whether or not that is a good thing for you really depends on how you feel about the base game but honestly, I'm not sure why anyone who doesn't enjoy the base gameplay loop would consider investing in DLC in the first place so...
These new ships are all suitably different from each other to be interesting but there is a lot of repetition in a few of them by nature so they can feel quite grindy at times. They are certainly not jobs you should expect to complete in a single sitting so if you're looking for a quick hit then this DLC is not for you. If you enjoy the slow and methodical process of breaking down the ships in the base game though, this is more of the same on good form. I find the process quite relaxing and am more than happy to recommend this new DLC for the low price it's offered at. There is nothing groundbreaking here but it is decent and I've had no real issues with bugs, floating beams or gamebreaking physics as was the case in the Warships DLC so that shows great improvement from the devs.
TL:DR - This is more of the same but with less of the aggravating bugs of past iterations. If you like the base game and are happy to work slowly on BIG jobs then this is for you. If you are looking for new gameplay or quick jobs it is not!
