Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened - The Whispered Dreams Review (Jocosity)
In terms of length these cases are kind of a mixed bag, with about half of them being fairly big and substantial and the other half being short treasure hunt-esque quests, but none of them are bad. The outfits are fine as well, though for what it's worth you don't get to change your clothes in like half of the game's chapters anyways, so I wouldn't use it as a priority in buying this.
What I think should be stressed is that these are more or less the only side cases in the game with like two or three brief exceptions, so it really just comes down to whether or not you want side content at all. None of the content is mandatory enough for it to really feel like you're missing out on a core part of the experience without this, but it does help a lot in fleshing out the first few maps that otherwise don't give a lot of reason to explore, and I do think that helps the experience a bit overall. It's cheaper to get this via the deluxe edition than it is to just buy it separately, though, and the game's linear nature means if you buy this after playing the main game you'll have to replay a lot of it to actually get to the content. In my eyes, it really just comes down to whether you're willing to pay $40 or $50 for the main game.
