Shapez Review (BajungaDustin)
Very fun.
Basically a super casual version of Satisfactory / factorio but without the compounding requirement. Such as "make 1 part... ok now use 3 of that part to make 1 of these... ok now you 5 of that part to make 1 of these.. now use 2 of that part to make 1 of these. " etc.
This game is more about making something new every time from scratch. Which is honestly a breath of fresh air. Some items or "shapes" can be useful in multiple areas or entire factories can be repurposed when a new shape is requires and you were already making something that will help you build the new shape.
The only downside is the game suffers from slight stability issues beyond level 20. prior to that I was able to let the game run while I was sleeping but after my map become more populated the game becomes frozen if my monitors go to sleep and I have to reset it when I come back. It does seem to maintain counting shapes while it looks frozen though so its a milk annoyance. The game also states its running in 144fps on my screen but I dont feel like it really is. Its not as crisp as I am used to.
That aside. The game is definitely addictive and I will for sure be picking up the sequel when it comes out.
