Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew Review (Sorahawk)
Ninjas, cowboys and now pirates! Mimimi Games never fails to disappoint, and they have successfully carved their niche with their line of top-tier stealth strategy games over the years.
Shadow Gambit is no different from its predecessors, and in fact improves upon the tried-and-tested formula, introducing non-linearity to several aspects of the game, such as mission progression, character selection, and level entry/exit. This creates a sandbox that allows players to truly play their own way, and Shadow Gambit only benefits from this expansion of freedom.
On top of that, Shadow Gambit introduces character upgrades, the first in a Mimimi stealth-strategy game. Each character in Shadow Gambit can be upgraded once, unlocking some kind of new ability, which players can even disable, and renable, if they so choose.
Shadow Gambit is the next step in the right direction for Mimimi Games, and I absolutely cannot wait for what the future brings!
