Serious Sam 3: Jewel of the Nile Review (Tartopoms)
This extension isn't as polished or well designed as the base game (SS3 running under the Fusion 2017 beta engine). it feels rushed, or made from maps that were rejected for being not structured enough (or too open-world) for the base game.
There is a flagrant lack of ammo in this DLC which change the gameplay experience and increases the difficulty further.
The most surprising is how clever, diverse and well designed some puzzles are... but puzzles should not be the high point of a Serious Sam game/extension!
There is also an achievement for completing this DLC, yet none to complete the base game under the Fusion engine. As a completionist I do not appreciate when extensions have achievements.
I will surely replay the base game, but I am not so sure about this DLC.
Get it only when at -80%. It's good but not as good as the base game.
