Scarf Review (Amarantine)
The game looks pretty, but that's about it. The performance is very poor, with problems like audio crackling and terrible, stuttering FPS even on low graphical settings. But even if the game was more optimized and performed well, it still wouldn't have much to offer. The controls are stiff, the puzzles feel like dull, mindless chores, and the story - which is clearly trying oh so hard to be very deep with its solemn narration - is nothing but vapid drivel and a waste of your time. The whole experience just feels a pretentious art project by some chuunibyou who played Journey and decided it would be cool to inject a bunch of DARKNESS into it (and also didn't know how to program a functional game). If you like quiet, relaxing and meditative indie games, save your time and skip this one and go play something like Omno instead.
