Saints Row IV Review (Coldrestia)
Can't speak to the single player experience but this is a great co-op game even if you haven't played the other Saints games you can still have a lot of fun with a friend. It's so over the top stupid but it's self aware enough to not stray into borderlands cringe territory.
The pure ridiculousness of what is happening brings a lot of entertainment, the gameplay is very different from the other Saints games so if you haven't played those don't go into it expecting that or GTA style gameplay, you have so many powers it plays more like an open world superhero game. nice amount of content that doesn't overstay it's welcome and honestly the story is pretty good as well as the variety of locations and different characters to interact with.
Look i'm not gonna pretend it's some intellectual peak comedy, it's dumb as shit but it's fun for that reason if you embrace it. great co-op pickup to play with a friend and in my opinion a good follow up to the rest of the Saints series
