Ruined King: A League of Legends Story Review (pelosi's dank cave)
Pros: The ultimates look cool.
Cons: Oh my lord. Who thought this extremely limited fast travel system was a good idea? There's only about 3-4 spots on each map you can TP to, otherwise you have to walk.,, And it takes FOREVER. Not just because the animation itself is incredibly slow, but if you rest, all the enemies respawn. They sort of figured that bit out by making the lower level enemies run away from you, but they decided after big story moments to just increase the levels of them anyway. If you're even a semi-completionist, be prepared to backtrack for practically every single quest. Want to swap characters to use their overworld ability? Hope you have a rest spot nearby, because it's the only way you can do it.
Sometimes the quests either don't update, or don't pop up at all. Or they just decide not to let you do it because you're not in the story point they find acceptable for it. (But they don't tell you that) It's made all the less convenient because you don't have a mini-map either. You're pressing M every 5 seconds to see if you're going the right way or not.
The fishing minigame is half-assed. You just hold E with no nuance. Want to see what your stats mean? Hope you didn't want to just hover over them! Instead you spam your way through their menu tutorial until the end. Accidentally skip past? Do it again.
