Ruined King: A League of Legends Story Review (Ironic xddd)

It's always hard to rate Airship Syndicate games. For those familiar with their catalog, this is basically a much improved Battle Chasers. The turn-based combat is fun, the synergies are interesting, and the new lane mechanic is welcome. The visuals, the music, the characters, and the story are all serviceable, and I have no complaint there either.
That being said, the game suffers from a slew of minor faults.
1. There's a ridiculous amount of backtracking. It's no exaggeration to say maybe 30-40% of the game is spent (painfully) slowly walking/jogging back to places you've been already or revisiting the same areas multiple times to turn in quests or complete an achievement.
2. Fuck fishing. I honestly don't know why this is a thing in Airship Syndicate games. Fishing is awful. It's boring, it's repetitive, and doesn't actually do anything besides MAYBE giving you extra marks for cosmetics or whatnot. It's also incredibly RNG-based and one of the fish (Small Eel) is bugged and has a ridiculously low spawn chance, making getting the achievement a complete slog.
3. Minor bugs. This game is riddled with tiny, almost inconsequential bugs, but they do add up and tarnish the overall experience a little bit. From unique quest items re-spawning multiple times to bizarre glitches making your character run into place and forcing you to load a previous save, not to mention visual bugs on the map, this could have benefited from more QA.
All in all, it's a good experience, but there's definitely a lack of polish that prevents the game from being great.
