ALMOST DIDN'T BUY....GLAD I DID...
Negative Steam reviews have such a heavy impact on purchase decisions. I always loved RCT3 and the entire series, great way to spend an evening and chill way to be creatively entertained.
Reading the negative reviews I was avoiding this version until it went on sale for $6.50. Super glad I bought it and it is worth the full price too. It has crashed twice on me, but I was ALT + TAB'in a ton to be fair. Water flicker I was able to fix with the custom graphic option (Aggressive Z + Water Reflections off).
Mouse flicker a bit from time to time, but nothing crazy. If you MAX out all setting then build a HUGE park, you are gonna need a solid build, not just an over-priced graphics card. You will need a good rig.....old game but LOT going on, go figure?
FIX: If you can't load the game or it crashed at the same points = DELETE TEMP FILES (Shaders) then VERIFY FILE INTEGRITY in Steam Properties.
SOME COOL MODS = Check Nexus, there's some fireworks, buildings, peeps, scenarios, etc. I liked the pre-built coaster packs on Nexus, they were profitable, affordable and not a sprawling mess.
