RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition Review (mr.Ghostly)
As with many other classic games released on Steam, the companies just don't seem to make enough effort to do some fixes and optimizations for modern systems, which is a bit of a letdown. As such, there are some bugs that could and SHOULD have been fixed. Fortunately, these are just some minor issues and the game still otherwise works and plays quite well.
I consider RCT3 to be the mix of all worlds from all available tycoons. It is not particularly the best one in any of the aspects, but it does them all together decently. It cannot match the graphical fidelity and sandbox freedom of Planet Coaster. On the other hand, it has much more engaging management and economy gameplay. While this last mentioned aspect was arguably the best in original tycoons RCT 1 and 2, these two games are very dated with regards to graphics and lack more engaging and fun 3D gameplay and creative freedom in RCT3.
