It was 1987 and these sentences made the eyes of a 15 year old boy light up.
Sitting in front of the TV watching on VHS, it was so exciting.
Yes, that boy was me.
My Human Form was a Child of the 80´s.
We got the A-TEAM, AIRWOLF, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, KNIGHT RIDER, TERMINATOR and we got ROBOCOP!
No Handys, no Internet, no Social Media, no Spoiler.
Just us and our TV/VHS, talking at school with our Friends about it.
"The Voice is so cool!"
"Did you see? He got his Gun in his Leg!"
"Boom, there goes the OCP Walker!"
And we got our First Robocop Game in 1988.

A sidescrolling Beat´em up and Shooting Game with cool Graphics and Music.
Then we got ROBOCOP 2, same Game Mechanics and then ROBOCOP 3 which went in 3D.
For that Time Amazing.
And now we are here in 2023.
Welcome to ROBOCOP - ROGUE CITY!
I was very exciting for this Game, because i still love Robocop. I´m watching all 4 Robocop Movies 1 to 2 Times every Year.
And so my expectations of the game were quite high.
And it didn't disappoint me.

In ROBOCOP - ROGUE CITY you follow a main Story but have also many Sidequests.
The Atmosphere is absolutly Movielike amazing!
Dirty Streets at night, with Criminals, Beggars and so much more Details, directly from the Movies.
The Police Station also like in the Movies.
That goes also for all the people inside.
It totally felt like ... coming Home.

In the Beginning you have to free the TV Station, that was captured by a Gang of Punks.
Here Officer Lewis (Known from the Movies) is with you.
The First Fight is showing you, that the Devs know their Job.
Robocop is very cumbersome, hey he is an armored Cyborg, and you can scan your Opponents, what makes it easier to find and shoot them.
Like in the Movies.
ROBOCOP - ROGE CITY is not just a FPS it is also an RPG.
You gain experience and are able to get usefull Skills.
The Graphics are nice done and that goes also for the Sound.
What i absolutly Love are the Dialogues, that go from Funny to Badass.
And i love that Peter Weller, the original Robocop Actor returns to his iconic Rolle.
Oh i forgot, ROBOCOP - ROGUE CITY took place between the Robocop 2 and Robocop 3 Movies.
What can i say.
This Game is not perfect, but an absolut must for Robocop Fans and for those who want to become them.
Pure love Nostalgic Atmosphere and pure Fun are waiting for you.
Again, a great Job, dear Devs, you truly did your Homework.
THIS is how to take a Filmlicense into a cool Game.
This is pure Passion!
