Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Pack Review (netkot)
Today I suddenly discovered that this game has a DLC that can be played in VR - Rise of the Tomb Raider: Blood Ties
With some issues, I was able to set up and play this DLC using Quest 3. Like many old VR projects, it took some fiddling, but it was worth it.
I spent about 5 hours in the VR without leaving until I finished the game. It seems like a very simple game - little exploration and some puzzles, but the story told in the game is very touching, and the Croft estate is beautifully modeled - it was very interesting to visit in person.
I highly recommend this forgotten VR project, for me it turned out to be a real hidden gem.
Launch the game via airlink -> steamvr and install beta version 813, because there is some problem with the light in the current version.
Oh, and one more little fact - the main game can be launched in stereoscopic mode, you can launch it through VD with the display set as Half SBS and you will get a three-dimensional game. Looks like Moss, very interesting and cute. Just don't forget to turn off shadows in the game - for some reason I had a problem with them, they were rendered differently for each eye.
