Waking up early in a cold 2007 winter. Snowing outside, no school or anything, rushing to the computer looking at the cd bag finding a disc called "Rise of Nations" and a cd key written on it with a marker. Listening to Revolver soundtrack while its installing looking with awe. The beautiful main menu where massive battles occur on the background as the delicious soundtrack welcomes you. A clueless little child having the time of his life at the scenario editor. Watching the insane LAN matches my dad and uncles having. Going out from the window to the floor below saying "Don't throw Nukes!". Battling with my sister and cousins for Terra Cotta Army wonder... Spending hours on Conquer The World campaigns.
Yeah, you were one of the best RTS games ever made yet the most neglected child in the Microsoft RTS family. Give us Rise of Nations Definitive Edition!
