Revenge of the Savage Planet Review (mytri)
If you enjoyed Journey to the Savage Planet, the sequel Revenge of the Savage Planet is an absolute treat. It builds on everything that made the original fun — absurd humor, vibrant alien worlds, and slapstick exploration — and turns the dial up even further.
Co-op gameplay is where the game shines the brightest. Whether you're flinging goo at each other by accident or stumbling into creature-infested caves together, every session turns into a hilarious adventure. The chemistry between the two-player setup and the world’s chaotic elements creates moments that feel genuinely unpredictable and funny.
The story continues in the same irreverent tone, filled with sarcastic AI voices, corporate satire, and laugh-out-loud scenarios. From bizarre mission objectives to over-the-top alien creatures, there’s a never-ending stream of jokes that never take themselves too seriously — and that’s part of the charm.
Performance-wise, the game runs flawlessly on PC. It’s well-optimized, with fast load times, smooth frame rates, and no noticeable bugs or stuttering. Even in co-op mode, everything runs cleanly, which is impressive for a game this visually busy and wild.
Revenge of the Savage Planet is a worthy, hilarious sequel packed with smart (and stupid) humor, goofy co-op chaos, and excellent technical polish. If you’re looking for something lighthearted and weird to play with a friend, this game delivers.
