Resident Evil 4 Review (percy)
The granddaddy of every single modern third-person shooter, RE4 is an absolute classic that aged like fine wine. It’s fun, the gameplay is nuts and feels oh-so-satisfying. It’s also the Resident Evil that almost killed the series as we knew it.
And now we get to enjoy the remake version of itIn my personal opinion this remake is the best resident evil part of the whole series. I played all Resident Evil Games beginning with the original Resident Evil from 1996. If you liked RE Village and the original recipe of Resident Evil Games as: few riddles, Puzzling, shooting, nice cutscenes , good One-Liners and a creepy horror atmosphere. Then you will love Resident Evil 4 Remake. Storywise, actionwise and also the content that you get in this game, makes it one of the best games that you can play at the current time. They upgraded every single part of the game. The remake itself is better than the remakes of RE1-3. However this game is also more challenging and difficult compared to the original RE4. The only complaint i have so far, are the controls, since they are are not as responsive as I would like them to be. Sometimes you get button prompts, for instance a melee attack and you press the buttons instantly, yet the game doesn’t recognise the inputs and is delayed, causing more damage by the enemies. I hope that this part will be patched later on. Because this has a huge impact on the combat of the game. All in all i can only recommend this game without any concerns. Thank you Capcom for this amazing masterpiece!
