Resident Evil 2 Review (tantrum)
Resident Evil 2 was one of my favorite games in my childhood and not just because of my good old times of childhood but Re2 is a really really good game even for now but this remake is the dullest Re game i have ever played.. Dude.. I started to dislike Re4(a disappointment when they changed the concept of the game. i was waiting for silent supernatural horror game not infected Spanish villagers) and found it a bit boring but this game is really annoying. If you don't have a knife you can't escape from the zombies without getting bitten when they catch you and zombies never die they always get up.. I mean come on even if they don't die completely when they are on the ground we can smash their heads is that so hard? If you don't have any ammo in your gun, you can't pass them without any damage when you come across them in the corridors and zombies don't leave corridors/rooms i mean they don't go to main halls so you can't come with a easy strategy and when you become clueless to solve the puzzles you have to keep turning into corridors zombies become really annoying at that moment and the situation becomes hopeless so you die. Re2 was so exciting that we could play the game for 4-6 times (with bonus games) and except Claire's B Scenario i have finished the scenarios about 2-3 times but i don't know if i have patience to finish this soulless remake.. Also i don't like the game's perspective, we have to see everything(rooms, streets, etc.) from the shoulder of the character we play with.
Crapcom just continue with the style of Re7.. You are lucky that Konami sucks more..
