Rescue HQ: The Tycoon Review (PCichigo)

Better save myself before rescue the other.

Have you ever play "Life in Bunker"? It's have the same poly style, that's very familiar to this game, so I thought it's probably from the same dev. Since I did have some good time with Life in Bunker before, so, I'm always intrigued to try any other game with the same poly style graphic, even though I found out later that, it's probably not from the same dev, as I think.

In Rescue HQ, you start as a small fire department, sending truck and building facilities to fill the needs of your employees, It's was a fine game as I expected it to be, until the mid game where you finally unlock the police and medical care.

And, wow, now you are a building three integrated departments to work together in one station. The police even have their own unique facilities like jails for keeping bad guys, and offices for processing crimes and solving cases. The medical section is very similar to building a mini hospital.

The game could be fine and fun if it's not for the urgent call that coming like a machine gun in late game. Every call you get, you have to click and assign your staffs, cars, and gears manually every time. It's a horrible experience, that hurting my finger because I have to repeatedly click so much, to the point that it is start to annoying me.

So, in the end, I just finish one scenario, and I think I'm already done with the game. I'm surprise that it's only 10 hours of play time, because I feel like I was stuck there forever. I did recommend it because it is quiet cheap, and provide a few days of distraction while waiting to play some other game, I guess...
