Remnant II: The Dark Horizon Review (Grizzly)

Really hate that I gotta do this and not many people are going to see this either but the negative reviews on this DLC are completely braindead and there is another reason why all the DLCs are mixed.
The marketing team thought its a good idea to not be clear what exactly the DLCs would be when they were announced, which made people assume they would get something totally different, a new world, instead of another alternative version of the existing world.
To these people it didnt matter that the DLCs are high quality and well worth the cost, because they are not what they expected, so they gave them a negative review. that together with the usual skill issue reviews that you get more commonly on dlcs and it goes into mixed even though the DLCs are great.
In case you dont know this game at all:
There are 5 worlds you are going to visit when you play the game. These are Nerud, Losmn, Yeasha, The Labyrinth and Root Earth. The Last two I named are static worlds that dont have any RNG to them. They are mostly a one and done thing and for the main story important.
However the first three worlds I named are where the game mainly focuses around. For each world, lets say Losmn right now, you get two different versions of it. The base game has Morrow Parish and Beatific Palace. Each of these worlds has their own Bosses for the different stages (first mini boss, second mini boss, world boss) and their own open worlds (the biggest "dungeon" you are gonna enter, often Just big open areas that lead to the doors for the next dungeons). The way that the RNG in this game works, you will usually get some random Mini Boss and side dungeons when visiting that world unless its the first time doing a Oneshot of a DLC.
And what the DLC does, is adding a third version to each world. So this includes:
- New Story line for the planet.
- New Dungeons.
- New mob Enemies and Bosses.
- New Weapons.
- New Traits.
- New Archetype.
- New Amulets / Rings / Mutators / Weapon mods.
This is so much stuff, that you can select your Oneshot in your adventure selection (that only works one time, as the name implies) and you will get an entire adventure that will only include the new stuff.
This is basically a must if you like to make builds as this adds sooo many things.
The DLCs will sometimes have some things of the base game, like some mob enemies or the dungeon hallway design, but thats honestly not much.
It is very clear to me that a lot of the negative reviews are just straight up lies. No idea why but some people just be like that.

The best way to know if this is for you or not is simple. You enjoyed Remnant 2 base game? the DLCs are basically exactly like that but 40% more content added to the game. Its just more Remnant 2.
