Ray'z Arcade Chronology Review (Wunderbar)
If you're here you're already probably well familiar of at least RayStorm, and perhaps RayForce and RayCrisis.
All fantastic games with a fun chaining system for scoring.
And you get the expected side bar information on your gameplay like M2 does with all their ports which is always fun too.
Highly recommend for any shmup fan as these are hands down the best ports of these games.
Note for Linux/Steam Deck players
The game "works" if you have Proton Experimental enabled, otherwise it crashes before the title screen on Proton 8.0 and older.
Unfortunately it still likes to crash in the menus even on Proton Experimental, specially after one of the three games has been launched and you paused. The issue occurs when you hold the dpad/stick in a direction and you cause the cursor on the menu to auto-scroll the options. So if you just tap the dpad/stick instead for each menu option, it don't trigger the crash. So be warned.
Beyond the lock up on menus, in game it self it plays great.
IMO, play on a Windows PC/VM if you can for now till the issue is fixed in Proton.
